By sandyford Feb 06, 2020

PEUGEOT has kicked off the 2020 award circuit in style. The French automotive brand has made headlines by winning 2020’s title of “Continental Tyres Irish Van of the Year” complimenting their former reign as International Van of The Year. This continues a successful streak, with the PEUGEOT Partner Van proving to be Ireland's best-selling van. Partner Van sales have been growing over 35.9% year-by-year, and most recently have seized a whopping 8.9% share of January 2020’s market. Due to their overall LCV market share increasing by +28.1% in the month, PEUGEOT now holds an esteemed 3rd place position in the Light Commercial Vehicle sales podium, a step forward above their January position of 4th place. PEUGEOT now controls 11.5% of the total LCV market.

Sales and Marketing Director at Gowan Distributors, PEUGEOT Importer in Ireland; Colin Sheridan, was quoted as saying:

"Our LCV performance in January 2020 has been very strong, as demand for the award-winning Partner, Expert, and Boxer van continues to soar, backed by growing interest in our 308 and 3008 car derived vans. We now look forward to the arrival mid-year of the new all-electric e-Expert van, whilst the new e-Boxer will follow before year-end.”

The Partner Van is no doubt an impressive vehicle, worthy of its title as a best-selling van, with a contemporary, full-bodied and fashionable exterior and an interior of the same acclaim.
