PEUGEOT has kicked off the 2020 award circuit in style. The French automotive brand has made headlines by winning 2020’s title of “Continental Tyres Irish Van of the Year” complimenting their former reign as International Van of The Year. This continues a successful streak, with the PEUGEOT Partner Van proving to be Ireland's best-selling van. Partner Van sales have been growing over 35.9% year-by-year, and most recently have seized a whopping 8.9% share of January 2020’s market. Due to their overall LCV market share increasing by +28.1% in the month, PEUGEOT now holds an esteemed 3rd place position in the Light Commercial Vehicle sales podium, a step forward above their January position of 4th place. PEUGEOT now controls 11.5% of the total LCV market.

Sales and Marketing Director at Gowan Distributors, PEUGEOT Importer in Ireland; Colin Sheridan, was quoted as saying:

"Our LCV performance in January 2020 has been very strong, as demand for the award-winning Partner, Expert, and Boxer van continues to soar, backed by growing interest in our 308 and 3008 car derived vans. We now look forward to the arrival mid-year of the new all-electric e-Expert van, whilst the new e-Boxer will follow before year-end.”

The Partner Van is no doubt an impressive vehicle, worthy of its title as a best-selling van, with a contemporary, full-bodied and fashionable exterior and an interior of the same acclaim. The vehicle contains the commended PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® interior with a neat, compact steering wheel and heads up instrument panel. The vehicle is available in a choice of 6 trims and 3 different engines.

This extensive choice of trims: Access, Active, Active Plus, Professional, Professional Plus and Grip trim, proves that the Partner Van can provide for all business needs. The Partner has all your typical feats, including; gear from the Access model is home to USB, Bluetooth, and Jack connectivity, 15” wheels, spare wheel, driver and passenger airbags. There is also overhead storage, rear paneled doors, and a full steel bulkhead.

A choice of 3 engines; a 1.5 BlueHDi diesel 75bhp 5-spd manual; a 1.5 BlueHDi diesel 100bhp S&S 5-spd manual, a 1.5 BlueHDi 130bhp S&S 6-spd manual, a 1.5 BlueHDi 130bhp S&S automatic 8-Speed S&S. Offered in two lengths, payloads range from 650KG to 1,000KG and up to two Europallets can be provided.

From the many widespread preferences available with the PEUGEOT Partner Van, two advances stand out from the crowd as major modernisms; the Overload Indicator and Surround Rear Vision. The Overload Indicator is a renovation created for safe loading within the maximum authorised payload and Surround Rear Vision offers blind-spot camera vision or rearview vision when driving (standard on Professional Plus trim).
