Update 26th of March: We’d like to inform you of the latest update on business operations here at Sandyford Motor Centre. Taking on board the most recent developments with COVID19, the Government, the HSE and WHO stricter guidelines on business procedures.

Sandyford Motor Centre are in full agreement that further steps need to be taken to ensure the safety of Irish society and have chosen to comply with the advice of our country officials and health experts.

Sandyford Motor Centre being a garage that supplies motor vehicles supplies & repairs are deemed an “Essential Service” and as such are expected to remain open to the general public whilst respecting physical distancing guidelines.

We will remain open but some changes will need to be introduced in our new environment. See the following procedures that we’re putting in place for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, customers and Irish society.

Showroom & Sales Covid-19 Policy

We are allowing access to our showroom solely via scheduled appointments only.  Our new Sales Opening Times will be Monday through Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.

This is so we have a minimal level of social interaction and in compliance with the latest, more stringent, social distancing official advice. This will ensure a maximum level of safety for our staff and customers.

We ask customers to, of course, come alone to appointments unless you have specified otherwise and to please refrain from bringing children to the showroom. Children are more likely to be asymptomatic carriers.

Our telephone lines at our showroom will remain open and active, and we will do our best to help you with any queries you may have when you call us at 01 2069200.

Car Servicing Policy

We are allowing access to our Service Centre via scheduled appointments only where possible.  Our new Service Centre Opening Times will be Monday through Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.

We understand and hope that you can too, that there needs to be a certain chain of priority set in place in regards to our resources and services during this time. We will do our best to aid you over the telephone or live video call and will make time and resources available for emergencies.

Vehicle servicing will be executed via scheduled appointments only.

We will permit a maximum of 2 people to be on the servicing grounds, and so request that you do not remain on the grounds whilst we service your automobile.

We will be imposing strict social distancing rules- checking in will be one at a time and we ask you to stay a safe 2 metres apart from anyone in the vicinity during your meeting.

We will do our best to help you with any queries you may have when you call us at 01 2069200.

Hygiene Policy

We will be enforcing, and ask you to do the same, strict hygiene policies. Our staff will be following strict handwashing and hand sanitizing guidelines, as well as wearing gloves and at work. We will be using disposable ‘Clean Sets’ while working on vehicles. This includes a covering on all steering wheels, seats, floor mats, gear knobs and handbrakes. We’ll also clean and sanitize your vehicle thoroughly post-service.

For elderly or at-risk members of society, we will do our best to organise a collection and delivery service for servicing, so they can remain in the safety of their homes.

We are not accepting cash during this time.

Parts Policy

Any order placed for parts must be ordered via telephone and paid for upon acceptance of delivery via card.

Depending on what the future brings, how the pandemic situation continues to unfold and depending on government official requests, we may have to shut our showroom altogether. Regardless, we’ll always be available as much as is possible during these uncertain times, online and via telephone to help you with your vehicle queries.

We urge you all to stay safe and do what you can to ensure the safety of yourself, your family friends and the Irish community, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Please call Sandyford Motor Centre on 01 206 9200 to enquire about any of the above.
